I think that there will definitely be a backlash when they start to
try to use this thing. People will refuse to go to events if they
suspect that one of these things might be used for entry.

I'm not shooting down the idea completely, just pointing out
potential pitfalls to it. It isn't as cut and dried as it was
originally made out to be, but most things in this niche are not. As
a final "oops I messed up" type protection it is fine, the be all/end
all solution it is not. You are definitely increasing your potential

The easiest way to add random added hours of delay to your
posts is to use remailers with long latent times listed in
their stats for the chains that you choose before the exit
remailer. For example, Cside>Frell>Pobox>Gpfa>3Nails> Exit.
Add "Slow" to the chain, and you'll get appreciable latency.
You can also specify added hours of latency on the user-end.

I am trying to get a mixminion node up, but I get the following weird error in the logs:

NB: 188.165.45.229 is the ip address of my node

This doesn't make good sense. If you hope you have completely
secured yourself but have slipped up somewhere, then with a hotspot
you will remain unknown. Even if you are being watched by the feds
or a hacker. However, if you slip up using your own ISP, you will
most definitely be identified. You cannot be IDed using a hotspot
