Dear EVers!
Hope all is going well.
Here in Russia as you may know it is planned to do a e-cars plant for 10.000 cars per annum and declared price would be 10.000 euro. This is M Prohorov's project. They biz idea to locate assembly to the end - users garages.
Did anybody consider a production of batteries locally or DIY? Is there any technological or material complications?

VIDEO: Helsinki Electric Motor Show - an overview

While the first video was an uncut stage presentation, these two are
shorter edited versions of the eCorolla publication and the show
happening at the fair.
Major part has the Prime Minister of Finland, who was at our place

For eCorolla...
There are now efforts put in to this. We aim to have documentation for
schools ready by summer this year. They are not intended to be OS
since it involves certain heavy costs we need to cover (a DVD
included). Any school can buy the set to support the education on EVs.

It looks like we get better prices from TS for the moment.
If the government would subsidize the batteries to make them cheaper than TS, it would increase the GDP, exports, employment and save on gas consumption.
Finland is one of the leading countries in electric car production of the world and should seek continously for solutions in order to maintain the lead.
