I used to have nop porblem installing google desktop. a few months ago iwas using proexp twaeker to temprarily shut off the rrot tree of my google dektop program. since them I have reconfigured my computer and it still wont run google desktop. it was opening fine and then it stopped. all the other gadgets open when I double click on them but now gmail won't do it and also, it's now requiring me to sign in each time. can anyone help. thanks.
I only index email, and am just using Google Desktop for searching MS Outlook email. The search results in the pop-up window does not have the Outlook email folder path in it, while the "More search results ...Is there some way to tell Google Desktop to put the Outlook email folder path in the pop-up window search results? Just installed GDS on my office PC, which runs Win2000Pro SP4. Yeah, yeah, I know it might not work 100%. Also, I set it for ENCRYPTED indexing. How do you make Google DOCs search within Google Desktop, as for instance I can search within mail, chats, ...but ther is not an option to search Metadata within Gogle Docs, or at least I haven't been able to find it. Thnaks very much for your support. ignacio
