I have two problems when I try and index some networked drives.
The first is that I don't have access to everything on the networked
drive and I assume this is one reason why I get the "unknown error
accessing files during crawl" message. Unfortunately it doesn't tell
me that that's the problem, nor where this actually happened - So I
can't easily block GDS from trying to look in that folder. Why can't
GDS cope with directories that it doesn't have permission to view ?
The second is that I can't add a networked directory that has a name
length of 65 characters....Why I try and add it it accepts the name in
the add box, but then doesn't actually add it to the list.
Any help would be appreciated.
